I recently had the pleasure of dining at Social House in Lima, Ohio, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our server, Sheryl, was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, had great energy, and truly excelled at her job—she deserves five stars all by herself! The vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant are remarkable; it makes you feel as though you’re in a bigger city rather than Lima, which is just insane! We started our evening with some delicious drinks: a Lemon Drop, a Cloud Martini, and an Espresso Martini. Each cocktail was a great choice and perfectly crafted. For food, we ordered the Smash Burger, Mac and Cheese, and a Chicken Sandwich with fries. Everything was amazing! The food was fresh, with each dish offering its own unique taste. The Smash Burger was incredibly flavorful, and the Chicken Sandwich was crispy and equally delicious. I wholeheartedly give Social House a five-star review! I can only imagine how lively it will be during the summer, as I’m sure it will be bustling with customers. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this gem!
Food was excellent. Service was superb. Cheryl is one of our favorites from other restaurants in the past and she always gives special attention to my 85 year old mom. Atmosphere is chic and modern. Loved it.and will be back.
Food is always 10/10 we ordered the fried chicken which came on a bed of dirty rice and a upgrade to the Mac and cheese. I myself ordered the BLT which was on point. Highly recommend.
This is a wonderful hidden gem. We’ve been here 6 or 7 times and every time has been amazing, even when they are completely packed. We have always sat at the bar but sometimes it’s so busy that we’ve had to walk away....our bad for not making reservations. It’s tucked back away from Central Avenue so chances of you getting in the official parking lot is rare but right across the street is a large parking lot to accommodate a lot more. The appetizers are great and they offer a great variety of food that should hit everyone’s taste buds. Their beer and liquor selections are satisfying (tonight I had some Eagle Rare). I love the Tomato Cod and my wife usually gets the Crab Cakes. The smash burger is delicious. Tonight I had the sliced beef tenderloin and a side of dirty rice and it was amazing, cooked to medium rare perfection. The staff is very attentive and friendly and always take care of us. We can’t wait for summer to take advantage of their large outdoor space which is huge and has fire pits and yard games. We highly recommend checking them out.
Fantastic place serving fresh food with ample portions. I had the Cajun Pasta, my lady friend had the green tomato BLT with the brussel sprouts, both dishes were fantastic. Great and helpful service made for a great dining experience.

It was one of the best dining experiences I have had in my life. The laid-back vibe, atmosphere, ambiance, wonderful service, delicious food & drinks are all on point. We can't wait for our next visit to try more menu items. Do yourself a favor and try this special place out. A well deserved 5 's from me.
Ok, y'all, this is the place. I came to Lima, OH for work and the food everywhere I've been has been mediocre, EXCEPT AT SOCIAL HOUSE. This was exactly what I needed. Excellent menu options with bold flavors, a creative and delicious cocktail menu, and modern hip atmosphere. I wish I had found this gem sooner. I had a cocktail from their spring menu called Jasmine Buzz. Super light and refreshing. I also indulged in their French onion soup (one of the best I've ever had), their Fig and Pig Crustini (great flavor profile), and their brussel sprouts (cooked to perfection with great complimentary flavors and textures). I wish I was here a bit longer so I could hang out here some more and try more of their menu. Cheers!
